Adobe demo Sound Lift tool: layered voice and noise tracks
CTOnews.com, Nov. 16, Adobe recently announced that it is developing a new audio tool called Project Sound Lift, which can deconstruct recording content and decompose it into different sound layers like pictures.
The Sound Lift tool mainly uses AI technology, which can separate the noisy background sound such as applause from someone's speech sound.
Adobe said that the Sound Lift tool is still in development, and when it is launched in the future, users only need to import audio files, and then the tool can help you filter out applause, laughter, alarms, speeches, crowds, traffic, typing and many other background sounds.
Project Sound Lift automatically detects each sound and spits out a separate file that contains background noise, someone's voice or the sound of an instrument. The demo video attached to CTOnews.com is as follows:
Users can import and edit each track individually in Adobe Premiere Pro to adjust the volume of the background noise while improving the clarity of the main track.
Adobe said the tool is still in the "Sneak" stage, meaning there is still a long way to go before the official release.
