The second phase of the sixth generation LTPS panel of Youda Kunshan Factory has been put into operation, with a total production capacity of more than 40,000 pieces per month.

CTOnews.com November 18 news, according to Youda news, Youda Optoelectronics recently held Kunshan sixth generation LTPS (low temperature polysilicon) liquid crystal panel phase II production opening ceremony, and announced that Kunshan factory monthly production capacity of more than 40,000 pieces of glass substrate.

The first phase of the Youda Kunshan plant was completed in 2016 and reached full production the following year, making it the first sixth-generation LTPS plant on the mainland, officials said. Youda has now launched the Kunshan plant capacity expansion plan, and will accelerate the investment of niche value-added products such as high-end laptops, low-carbon energy-saving and automotive panels in the future.

CTOnews.com learned from Youda that the LTPS electric pen panel produced by Youda Kunshan factory has reached 520Hz ultra-high refresh rate and 540PPI ultra-high resolution.

The company has three manufacturing plants on the mainland, including Kunshan, the first front panel factory built by the company on the mainland, and the core base for leading its LTPS panels into the global market, AUDA said.
