When it launches in December, Microsoft will upgrade the web version and the new Win11 version of Outlook: support for recording and playing videos
CTOnews.com, Nov. 22, according to the Microsoft 365 roadmap, Microsoft plans to update its Outlook app in December to allow users to play videos directly in the email app.
Microsoft made it clear in the roadmap that this feature is only available for the web version of Outlook and the new version of Win11 Outlook, while the classic version of Outlook does not have this feature.
Microsoft said that the web version and the new Win11 Outlook app will support video recording and insertion, allowing users to directly turn on camera recording or screen recording in the Outlook app, or at the same time, without jumping to other apps.
CTOnews.com also learned from the roadmap that after Microsoft upgrades Outlook, users can watch Stream videos directly without jumping to other pages. If an email on Outlook has a streaming video link, you can play the video on the platform.
