CTOnews.com, November 22, according to the State Power Investment Group (State Power Investment Group), on November 17, the first set of domestic control system for independent heavy-duty gas turbine models developed and manufactured by China Power Investment China, Keyuan Wisdom and Southeast University was delivered, and the intelligent gas turbine control system (CTOnews.com note: hereinafter referred to as "ITCS") collaborative innovation center was unveiled and established.
According to reports, heavy gas turbine is the core equipment in the energy field, an important symbol of a manufacturing power, and an important weapon related to national security and comprehensive competitiveness.
In the construction of a new power system, heavy gas turbine has the characteristics of rapid start and stop, fast load response, outstanding peak regulation and frequency regulation performance. it can effectively deal with the unstable and unsafe power supply caused by the frequent occurrence of extreme weather and the output of renewable energy, and effectively reduce carbon emissions, which is an important starting point to adapt to the development of large-scale new energy and multiple comprehensive protection of load storage in the source network.
State Power Investment said that the control system is the "brain and nerve center" of gas turbines, and key core technologies have long been monopolized by mainstream international manufacturers. From control strategy and functional safety design to control realization, protection realization and test verification, the joint research team formed by National Electric Power Investment and Keyuan Wisdom has realized independent positive design and complete localization, and the protection system has reached level 3 of safety integrity (SIL3). It has achieved a breakthrough from "0" to "1", which is of great historical significance to promote the localization of gas turbine control system in our country.
