IDC data show that HMD Global leads the feature phone market in the third quarter.

CTOnews.com, Nov. 22 (Xinhua)-- HMD Global, which makes Nokia phones, announced that it occupied the No. 1 position in the functional phone market in the third quarter of 2023, according to the latest data from IDC.

CTOnews.com noted that neither HMD Global nor IDC released detailed market analysis, but HMD Global's revenue share in the functional phone market was 30.7% and sales share was 22.4%, an increase from the previous quarter.

HMD Global said there were several key factors contributing to the success of Nokia's functional phones. The first is that the function machine integrates UPI (Unified payment Interface), which enhances the functionality of the function machine and realizes secure digital transactions. The company has also made new designs and colorful updates to its flagship models, including Nokia 2022, Nokia 110, Nokia 1104G, Nokia XpressAudio and Nokia 2660 Flip.
