CTOnews.com, November 23, 1963-the first pilot episode of Doctor who, An Unearthly Child, was broadcast on November 23, 1963. Today, the show marks its 60th anniversary.

To commemorate the 60th anniversary of Doctor who, three special episodes will be released, the first of which will be broadcast on November 25.

Two other special series "WILD BLUE YONDER" and "THE GIGGLE" will be launched on December 2 and December 9, respectively.

As previously reported by CTOnews.com, in the upcoming season 14 of Doctor who, Shuti Gatwa will play the new doctor, and Millie Gibson will play the new doctor's partner. David Tennant, the 10th beloved Doctor who, will return in the new season.

Doctor who is a science fiction series produced by BBC in the United Kingdom, which dates back to 1963 and tells the story of Doctor who driving "TARDIS" to travel through time and space to maintain peace in the universe.
