YouTube tests the official Mini Game platform Playables, which is limited to subscribers.
CTOnews.com November 25 news, according to foreign media Droidlife local time reported Friday, Google this week for YouTube subscribers launched a new feature "YouTube Playables," and has sent a notice to some subscribers, inviting them to "interested" in the case of this feature.
Reported that the feature entry is located in YouTube's "Explore" tab, after entering Playables, the App will display "Home" and "Browse" two tabs. Currently, the platform has about 37 games online, each of which is point-and-play, no download required, and can be found through the browser or YouTube app.
At present, the games that have been launched include Angry Birds: Duel, Classic No.8 Billiards, Brain Training, Daily Crossword, etc., mostly sports or puzzle solving Mini games.
YouTube said the service is still in beta and is tentatively scheduled to last until March 28, 2024, although it is unclear whether it will remain after that.
Before YouTube, Netflix had launched a similar service. Netflix announced the launch of Netflix Games, its official gaming platform, in November 2021, allowing users to play these games on their mobile devices, according to CTOnews.com. The initial games include "Strange Things: 1984,""Shooting Hoops,""Card Blast" and "Teeter Up."
