Amazon announces the launch of the third-generation Echo Frames smart glasses on December 7, starting at $269.99
CTOnews.com, Nov. 29, Amazon announced today that the third generation of Echo Frames smart glasses will be launched on December 7, with a starting price of $269.99 (currently about 1928 yuan) and a pre-sale price of $194.99 (CTOnews.com Note: currently about 1392 yuan).
It is reported that Amazon's third-generation Echo Frames smart glasses are not AR glasses, but just add speakers and microphones to ordinary glasses, and users can call Alexa intelligent assistants to get weather, news and other content.
CTOnews.com noted that the glasses are said to play 6 hours of audio or 45 minutes of podcasts in terms of battery life, and users can adjust the volume by touching the frame.
The series of glasses are available in prescription lenses and are available in "sunglasses" and "Blu-ray filter versions", of which the Blu-ray filter version is more expensive than the standard version at $224.99.
