CTOnews.com, December 1, a few days ago, Dongfeng Automobile Group Co., Ltd. filed the recall plan with the State Administration of Market Supervision and Administration in accordance with the requirements of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products and the measures for the implementation of the regulations on the recall of defective Automobile products. From now on, a total of 33618 Dongfeng EX1 and Dongfeng EX1 PRO electric vehicles manufactured from March 27, 2021 to December 19, 2022 will be recalled.

The information collected by the vehicle terminal (T-box) of the vehicle within the scope of this recall is incomplete in some specific charging scenarios, resulting in the remote data monitoring platform can not issue early warning information in time, there are security risks.

CTOnews.com learned from the announcement that Dongfeng Automobile Group Co., Ltd. will upgrade software for vehicles within the scope of the recall free of charge through vehicle remote upgrade (OTA) technology; for vehicles that cannot be recalled through OTA technology, contact relevant owners through Dongfeng customer service center to upgrade software for vehicles free of charge, in order to eliminate safety risks.
