CTOnews.com, December 4 (Xinhua)-- some developers have learned about the Google Phone app and found that Google seems to be trying to provide users with a simplified version of the "phone number blacklist."

The developers found the following string in Google Phone versions of v118 and v117, indicating that Google is developing a solution that makes it easy for users to quickly block certain harassing phone / text message numbers, and that the "list" can be shared with other apps.

Allow@android:string/cancelTo better protect you, Phone needs to change how blocking works. Your blocked numbers will now stop both calls and texts and may be shared with other apps.New, simplified blocking, however, Google seems to have removed them from v119 and v120. While this does not mean Google has cut this feature, it is likely to face more changes or delays.

In addition, there is the following string under the "migrate" branch, indicating that users can also share the "list" on different Android phones.
