Microsoft App Store updates, some Win11 users appear "Arcade" game function test option

CTOnews.com, December 4 (Xinhua)-- Neowin found that the latest Windows preview has updated the Microsoft Store app, adding a section called "Arcade" to the left tab, including games that can be played without downloading, most of which are similar to Flash games more than a decade ago.

Although it is very similar to Apple Arcade in terms of naming and icons, it is clear that you are unlikely to see Apple's game subscription service on Windows PC.

It is said that Arcade can be found in Microsoft Store version 22311.1401.0.0 and later (you may need to change the system area to the United States). After you open Arcade, you can choose any game, click "Play" to automatically pull up the game window.

CTOnews.com query found that Microsoft announced the Windows 11 real-time gaming feature in September 2023. At the time, Microsoft said the idea would "make it easier for users to explore and faster access to content in Microsoft Store on Windows."
