Alibaba said that in accordance with the standard operating procedures of depositary banks, in order to ensure accurate statistics and payment of dividends and protect the rights and interests of shareholders, the conversion between Alibaba's common shares and American depositary shares will be suspended between the close of the New York market on December 15, 2023 and the close of the New York market on the 21st. During this period, Alibaba's trading of common shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and American depositary shares on the New York Stock Exchange were not affected and were carried out normally.

Dividends for common stock holders are expected to be paid on or around January 11, 2024, while American depositary share holders are expected to be paid on or around January 18, 2024.
