Nokia shows its new environmentally friendly product packaging: smaller and more compact, made of biodegradable materials

CTOnews.com, December 7, according to foreign media Nokiamob, Nokia recently displayed its new environmentally friendly product packaging, which claims to be more compact than the previous packaging, with a package size reduction of 60% and a weight reduction of 44%.

CTOnews.com has been informed that Nokia claims that the packaging complies with FSC's fully recyclable cardboard components, uses a 100% recycled fiber-based solution, is equipped with anti-drop cushioning materials, allows reuse, and claims to significantly reduce landfill waste and environmental hazards, as well as reduce carbon dioxide emissions from incineration and marine pollution.

Nokia also reiterated that it expects to achieve its environmental goal of reducing its greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions by 50% by 2030 and reaching net zero by 2050.

Nokia announces gradual use of 100% recyclable packaging for communications products, claiming to "reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 60%".
