China Information and Communication Institute and Telecom Terminal Industry Association to launch the "Joint working Mechanism for the Protection of minors"
CTOnews.com, December 12, according to the official news of the China Institute of Information and Communications (CICT), at the 2023 Annual meeting of Telecom Terminal Industry Association held on December 7, 2023, China Telecom Terminal Industry Association formally launched the "Joint working Mechanism for the Protection of minors", which was witnessed by senior executives of vivo and OPPO.
According to the announcement, based on the solid technical accumulation in the field of information communication and mobile Internet, Theil Terminal Laboratory of China Information and Communication Institute has completed the preliminary construction of the network protection standard system for minors, covering the three major areas of terminal equipment, application software and platform, and information security, and will continuously update and improve the standard content in accordance with laws and regulations. At the same time, it has completed the in-depth research on related topics such as "Research on underage Protection Technology and Evaluation of Mobile Terminal", "Security Hidden danger Analysis and Development Strategy Research of minors' Internet Terminal", "current situation Analysis and Governance methods of Mobile Application minors' Network Protection" and other related topics, which has laid a good foundation for the follow-up work of juvenile protection.
