In 2023, the actual sales revenue of China's game market was RMB 302.964 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 13.95%, breaking through the threshold of RMB 300 billion yuan for the first time.

In 2023, the actual sales revenue of China Mobile's game market was 226.86 billion yuan, up 17.51% year-on-year, accounting for 74.88% of the total revenue of China's game market;

The actual sales revenue of client game market was 66.283 billion yuan, up 8% year-on-year.

The sales revenue of the web game market decreased by 10.04% year-on-year, and the overall scale was only 4.75 billion yuan, declining for the eighth consecutive year.

The actual sales revenue of self-developed games in the domestic market was 256.375 billion yuan, up 15.29% year-on-year; the actual overseas sales revenue was 16.366 billion US dollars, down 5.65% year-on-year.

As a comparison, the actual sales revenue of China's game market in 2022 was about 265.88 billion yuan, down 30.63 billion yuan or 10.33% year-on-year. The overseas market revenue of self-developed games was about US $17.35 billion, down 3.70% year-on-year. The number of game users is about 664 million, down 0.33% year-on-year.
