CTOnews.com, December 16, Intel announced in July that it would abandon the NUC mini-computer business and signed an agreement with Asustek in October this year to produce, sell and support Intel's 10th to 13th generation NUC system product line, and to design and develop future NUC systems.

Asustek recently launched NUC 13 Rugged products, with a total of 2 models:

Flat version: with Intel N50 processor (6W TDP)

Tail version: with Alder Lake-N Atom processor (up to 12W TDP)

Asustek said in an official campaign:

Use the Asustek NUC 13 Rugged kit and motherboard to unlock unmatched performance, connectivity and reliability. These devices are carefully built with fanless, dustproof, rugged chassis, demonstrating a perfect synergy of power and durability.

CTOnews.com learned from the report that the Asustek NUC 13 Rugged rugged device uses Intel processor N50 and Intel Alder Lake-N Atom processor and is tailored for applications that require dust, shock and vibration resistance.

The Intel ®Wi-Fi 6e AX210 is pre-installed in the M.2 slot of most kit SKU, and the chassis is equipped with an external antenna to ensure a reliable and high-speed wireless connection.

For storage, it has a welded 64 GB eMMC and includes an M.2 2280 key M slot that supports PCIe x2 NVMe SSD and extended storage.
