CTOnews.com December 21 news, a few days ago, Jeep car released 2024 models of the south, as an annual model change version, the new car mainly upgraded the configuration, and offered light hybrid version and plug-in hybrid version optional.

CTOnews.com notes that the 2024 Guide continues the design of the 2021 modified model without significant changes. The interior is still equipped with a 10.25-inch digital dashboard and a 10.1-inch infotainment touch screen. The highlight is the upgraded Driver Assistance System (ADAS) package, with Level 2 driver assistance now available on all roads, no longer limited to highways. Jeep has also added connectivity services and introduced new A+ tires (18-inch and 19-inch) to improve fuel efficiency.

According to Jeep, Guide now offers more than 80 safety features, including driver drowsiness detection, full-speed forward collision warning with active braking, pedestrian/bicycle automatic emergency braking, active lane keeping and rear intersection detection.

To further simplify the product line, the 2024 Guide configuration levels have been reduced from five to four: Altitude, Summit, Overland, and Trailhawk. The Trailhawk version retains its off-road style and adds more standard features. In addition, there are three optional packages: Safety Kit, Advanced Kit and Winter Kit (Advanced Kit includes upgraded Level 2 driver assistance system).

Since the European market has completely discontinued the fuel version, the 2024 Guide only offers two electric powertrains. The entry-level e-Hybrid Light Hybrid features a 1.3L turbocharged gasoline engine with 130 hp output, a 20 hp electric motor and 48V battery pack, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to deliver power to the front axle.

The flagship Guide 4Xe features a plug-in hybrid powertrain with two power outputs: 187 hp and 237 hp. Both are equipped with an electrified 4WD system and Selec-Terrain driving mode options (Auto, Snow, Sand/Mud and Sport) for easy terrain handling. The Trailhawk version takes off-road capability to the next level with Rock Mode and Jeep Active Drive Low.

Currently, Jeep Guides are manufactured in four factories worldwide (Ranjangaon, India; Pernambuco, Brazil; Toluca, Mexico; and Melfi, Italy) and sold in more than 100 countries. It is reported that the new third-generation Jeep Guide will be put into production at the Melfi plant in Italy in 2025 and will be built on the STLA Medium architecture, offering a variety of power options such as pure electric and hybrid power.

The 2024 Jeep Guide has been launched in Spain for a price range of 38,700 - 51,250 euros, or about 300,000 - 400,000 yuan. As a reference, the domestic guides are currently out of sale.
