AI helps judge the approval of glaucoma, and Tencent has become the first Internet technology company in China to be approved for innovative medical devices.
It is reported that this product is the joint scientific research result of Tencent Miying and Professor Wang Ningli of Beijing Tongren Hospital, using artificial intelligence algorithm of deep learning to provide clinical triage advice. Based on different visual fields, the corresponding sub-classification models are constructed respectively, and the algorithm engine adopts multi-model integrated learning strategy to give hints on whether there is suspected chronic glaucoma-like optic neuropathy or not. for practitioners to provide tips for suspected chronic glaucoma-like optic neuropathy, as well as the need for further medical examination of auxiliary diagnosis suggestions.

In addition, this innovative medical device product also provides a quality control method for fundus camera imaging, which can automatically identify common clinical fundus image quality problems such as non-fundus images, large area fouling and refractive interstitial opacity.
