CEO, the world's largest asset manager: artificial intelligence may be a technology to curb inflation
CTOnews.com, June 15, according to Bloomberg, Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, the world's largest asset management company, said yesterday that artificial intelligence (AI) has great potential to increase productivity and can eventually play a role in curbing inflation.
▲ figure source Pexels Fink said at BlackRock's Investment Day that the decline in productivity has become a key problem restricting the development of the global economy and is "the main reason for high inflation." Given the potential productivity gains brought by AI, he believes that "AI may be a technology that can curb inflation."
Mr Fink also predicts that AI could "bring huge returns on long-term investment" and change profit margins across industries.
CTOnews.com previously reported that a report from the National Institute of Economics (NBER) shows that generative AI can effectively improve employee productivity, with the most obvious impact on customer service employees, up to 14%. As the potential of AI is gradually proven, more and more governments and enterprises are beginning to deploy AI tools to improve productivity.
