Sources say that QQ can log in using Wechat account, which is expected to promote the integration of Tencent platform.

Thanks to CTOnews.com netizen long Gloria for the clue delivery! CTOnews.com, June 24 (Xinhua) in the early days, in order to promote Wechat installation, Tencent users could log in to Wechat using their QQ account, a feature that was removed before 2014. Now this function is "the other way around", and there is news that Tencent QQ can now log in using its Wechat account.

After verification, CTOnews.com learned that at present, QQ can indeed log in by binding Wechat and using Wechat account. In the latest QQ client login interface, the "Wechat login QQ" option also appears.

▲ Tencent QQCTOnews.com noted that the user base of Tencent QQ and Wechat is relatively fragmented. Although most people have both Wechat and QQ accounts, there is usually only one platform active on the two platforms. Tencent may be doing this to pursue the integration of Wechat and QQ, but it will take time to judge whether it can achieve the desired results.
