Shulou(Shulou.com)11/24 Report--
CTOnews.com, November 3 (Xinhua)-- Nokia G425G phones have begun testing Android 14 updates and are expected to be available to users in the near future, according to the latest GeekBench running library.
After upgrading Android 14, the Nokia G425G phone has a single core score of 752 and a multi-core score of 1897, which is basically the same as the previous Android 13 version, indicating that the upgrade will not have a negative impact on performance.
HMD Global has not yet announced plans to upgrade Android 14 for Nokia-branded phones, which are expected to include Nokia XR21, Nokia X30, Nokia G60 5G, Nokia G22 and G425G phones.
CTOnews.com reported in September that HMD Global has expanded its product portfolio to launch phones with its own HMD brand, which may affect plans to update existing Nokia-branded phones.
Ravi Kunwar, HMD Global's vice president for India and the Asia-Pacific region, said the new HMD Global brand will be launched in the first half of 2024, with India as its main target market.
The company intends to build a comprehensive product ecosystem by launching various HMD-branded products, such as smartphones, tablets, feature phones and Internet of things devices.
