Docker can be roughly divided into five network models:

1. Bridge

-- network=bridge

Default network. Create a docker0 bridge after Docker starts, and the default container is added to the bridge.

2. Host

-- network=host

Instead of getting a separate network namespace, the container shares one with the host. This means that the container will not have its own network card information, but will use the host. The containers are isolated except for the network.

3. None

-- network=none

The container acquires a separate network namespace, but does not make any network configuration for the container. We need to configure it manually.

4. Container

-- network=container:Name/ID

Use the same network namespace as the specified container and have the same network configuration information. The two containers are isolated except for the network.

5. Custom network

Same as the default bridge principle, but the custom network has internal DNS discovery, and the network communication between containers can be carried out through container name or hostname.

Packet-- > veth2-- > veth0-- > docker0-(SNAT)-> eth0-- > outside

Packet-- > eth0-(DNAT)-- > docker0-- > veth0-- > veth2
