Create + switch branches: git checkout-b

Merge a branch into the current branch: git merge

Delete branch: git branch-d

Pull a remote branch and create a local branch

Method one

Use the following command:

Git checkout-b local branch name x origin/ remote branch name x

Using this method creates a new local branch x and automatically switches to that local branch x.

Mode two

Use the following command:

Git fetch origin remote branch name x: local branch name x
