3. OGG upgrade

Stop processes related to the old version

Ps-ef to view

Install the new version

[oracle@ggtest1 tmp] $cd fbo_ggs_Linux_x64_shiphome/Disk1/

[oracle@ggtest1 Disk1] $. / runInstaller &

Select the same local address as the old version and automatically replace the binaries.

You can use the same port or you can use different ports.

Modify Manager Port directly, or modify the management parameter file mrg.prm

After confirming the correctness, update.

You can view the upgraded version through the ggsci command.

4. Delete OGG

In previous versions of OGG12c, you can delete the directory directly.

Method 1: use OUI to uninstall (secure)

(1) do the following

[oracle@ggtest1 bin] $pwd

/ u01/app/oracle/product/12.2.0.1/oggcore_3/oui/bin

[oracle@ggtest1 bin] $. / runInstaller-silent-deinstall "REMOVE_HOMES=/u01/app/oracle/product/12.2.0.1/oggcore_3"

(2) delete the OGG installation directory.

Method 2: Hacking oraInventory (not recommended)

(1) remove the entry of OGG from the oraInventory file.

(2) delete the OGG installation directory.
