Set virtual machine backup policy

Select "Virtualization Protection" in the left menu bar, go to the Virtualization Protection page, find the virtual machine for which you want to set the backup policy, set the corresponding policy in the "Local Policy" column, and the virtual machine can perform the corresponding tasks according to the policy.

Perform an immediate backup manually

Click "schedule now" on the far right of the virtual machine to perform an immediate backup operation.

This operation is mainly used to create a backup baseline or to take a snapshot of a virtual machine immediately.

View backup status

Click "report"-"Task execution" in the left menu bar to enter the task execution page, and you can view the corresponding backup information and the progress of the ongoing backup.

Task execution keeps the history of each backup so that you can easily view the relevant historical data for all backups.

The first backup will use the full backup mode, and the subsequent backup will use incremental backup. Each backup version can be recovered independently and has no dependency.
