When win8.1 x64 installs Oracle Database 11g R2, this error [INS-13001] is reported because win8.1 is not yet released when the R2 version is officially released, so it cannot be well supported. Clicking Yes to continue the installation will not have any impact, but the following methods can completely solve the error problem:

Modify the preconfiguration file cvu_prereq.xml for Oracle installation

Open\ database\ stage\ cvu\ cvu_prereq.xml with notepad and add windows8.1

Modify the code as follows:
