2. Problem description

The application is automatically disconnected after connecting to the database, and the business cannot be used normally.

Sqlplus / as sysdba can log in to the database.

3. Error message

Errors in file / u01/oracle/admin/orcl/bdump/orcl1_psp0_954436.trc:

ORA-27300: OS system dependent operation:fork failed with status: 11

ORA-27301: OS failure message: Resource temporarily unavailable

ORA-27302: failure occurred at: skgpspawn3

4. Solution

1) login as root.

2) use smitty utility

Select 'System Environments'

Select 'Change / Show Characteristics of Operating System'

Maximum number of PROCESSES allowed per user'-> change to an appropriate value

ORuse command line:chdev-l sys0-a maxuproc, where n is an appropraite value

5. Summary

Database connection is controlled by both operating system parameters and database parameters. Relevant parameters must be set when installing the database to avoid such problems after the increase of business. Therefore, the database installation is very important, and it is particularly important to adjust the parameters that should be adjusted when installing.
