Virtual machine experiment

Two server 2008, one for DHCP and one for relay XP as a client for verification

DHCP server one network card IP (192.168.1.1) Gateway points to (192.168.1.2) relay server the two network cards are (192.168.1.2) and (192.168.2.1) respectively

* configure the computer network card and the static addresses of the DHCP server and relay server according to the above illustration before the start of the experiment

Install DHCP first

The next step is until the installation is completed in the following figure. DNS settings can be added after installation.

Add scope Click DHCP

Right-click IPV4 and click New scope

Enter the domain name and click next.

Click next to set the network segment of 1.0

Check the last custom configuration

Check the last LAN route

Click OK

Click to start the service

Right-click General Click in IPV4 to add routing protocols

Select the first DHCP relay agent and click OK.

After that, you will find that there is an extra DHCP relay agent right-click to select the new interface.

Select Local connection 2 Click OK

Finally, right-click the DHCP relay agent to select properties

Add the IP address of the DHCP server

Finally, you can go to the client for verification!
