The QTP default recording method cannot record the drop-down menu. You need to modify the settings before recording.

Modify the settings as follows:

1. Record- > web event recording configuration-custom settings... Expand Web objects

2. Select webelement, and click event-> add->. And make sure that in the record column, the status is enabled

3. Re-record your script

4. After the recording is completed, execute the script. If playback fails, it is because the script only records the mouse event, but not the click event, so you need to manually add the click event after recording.
