Install and configure DHCP service under Windows Server2016

Part I: environmental and preparatory work

One: windows server2016 operating system

Two: a windows ordinary operating system, take WIN7 as an example (for testing)

Three: server IP address: for example, 192.168.80.30

Four: the server and the win7 computer are on the same local area network.

Part two: create DHCP and configure

One: create a DHCP server

Service Manager, adding roles and featur

Default next step, go to the server role, select DHCP, default is always the next step, install

Installation complete, close

Two: configure DHCP to open the start menu, open windows Management tools, and open DHCP

New scope: right-click IPv4 to create a new scope

Default next step, name (custom, for example: test), next step

Enter the assigned address range (for example: 192.168.80.10-192.168.80.200), next

Exclude addresses (as the case may be, excluded addresses will not be assigned, and local addresses will be removed by default), next

Lease term, the default is "8" days after expiration (as the case may be), the next step

7. Default next step

Enter the gateway (for example: 192.168.80.1), next

Add DNS (for example: 2.2.2.2), next

10.wins server does not need to be set. Default is next.

11. By default, the next step is completed, as shown in the figure:

twelve。 Check the network parameters of win7 computer, as shown in the figure:

Three: bind the MAC address and click "scope [192.168.80.0] test", right-click "keep", and create a new reservation.

Configure retention information

(1) name (for example: boss)

(2) MAC address, enter the specified computer MAC address (command: arp-a)

(3) IP address, enter the IP address you want to give it

After completion, the server will automatically assign the IP address to the MAC address.

Add and close, as shown below:

View the win7 computer network information, as shown in the figure:

Important commands:

Check the MAC address: arp-a

Release native IP address: ipconfig / release

Re-obtain the native IP address: ipconfig / renew
