Newly installed zabbix often hangs up automatically after 1: 00 p. M. and reports to Zabbix database is down. You need service mysqld restart to do it. I haven't found out exactly what caused the hang. I wrote a script to check that if the log has the words above, then restart mysqld directly. The script is as follows.

Vi / opt/restartmysqld.sh

#! / bin/bash

Tail-N6 / var/log/zabbix_server.log > / opt/a.log

I1 = `cat / opt/a.log | grep Zabbix | awk'{printf $4}'`

If ["$i1" = = "down.down."]; then

Service mysqld restart

Fi

Then crontab-e

* / 1 * sh / opt/restartmysqld.sh

So I remember it.
