Sources say Marvel Wolverine, released in 2025, is set to be darker and more violent.
CTOnews.com, Nov. 21, according to source Daniel Richtman, insomnia group Insomniac Games plans to release Marvel Wolverine in 2025.
Richtman broke the news to its Patreon subscribers, which is in line with Giant Bomb's Jeff Grubb's announcement in February that Grubb said the Marvel Wolverine game would be released in the fall of 2024.
Richtman also revealed that Marvel Wolverine will be darker and more violent than Marvel Spider-Man 2 and will be set in Southeast Asia's fictional Madripoor port, a metropolis that often appears in the mutants of the X-Men team.
Marvel Wolverine has a "semi-open" linear game design similar to Ares, which will provide players with an above-average game map for players to explore.
Jeff Grubb, a well-known uncle, said that unlike Spider-Man, which focuses more on Wolverine than X-Men, the game will feature a dismemberment system and is one of the most violent Marvel games in modern games.
