Online sales of Cyber Monday in the United States are expected to exceed $12 billion, a record high.

CTOnews.com November 27, Reuters quoted Adobe Analytics data reported that U.S. consumers seeking deep discounts will increase this year's "Cyber Monday" online sales to a record 12 billion-12.4 billion U.S. dollars (CTOnews.com note: currently about 85.8 billion-88.66 billion yuan).

Reported that this year "Cyber Monday" period, American consumers will rush to buy Barbie dolls, headphones and other products. The data also showed that the median forecast for online sales growth this year is 8%, better than Adobe's previous forecast of 6.1%.

Salesforce, another firm, predicts online sales on Cyber Monday will grow by "large single digits" in the U.S. and around the world.

Black Friday and Cyber Monday are two popular shopping sprees in the United States and other countries and regions. The former is the Friday after Thanksgiving, and the latter is the first Monday after Thanksgiving, marking the beginning of the holiday shopping season.

The "holiday shopping season" refers to a period of time at the end of each year, usually starting from "Black Friday" and continuing through Christmas and New Year.

CTOnews.com previously reported that Adobe Analytics data showed that during Black Friday this year, U.S. shoppers spent a total of $9.8 billion online (currently about 70.07 billion yuan), in line with Adobe data and insight department expectations.
