In order to better improve the performance experience of Android applications and reduce the power consumption impact of Android applications, in April this year, Golden Standard Alliance members OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi and other application stores identified 64-bit application adaptation-related time nodes.

CTOnews.com learned from the latest announcement of the Gold Standard Alliance that as of December 1, the adaptation of the 64 members of the Gold Standard Alliance is as follows:

TOP100 application adapts to 64-bit

More than 98% of TOP1000 applications adapt to 64 bits.

More than 98% of TOP3000 applications adapt to 64 bits.

Over 96% of TOP1W applications adapt to 64 bits.

In addition, from July 1, 2023, OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi and other app stores have begun to gradually clean up apps that only support 32-bit.

Jinbiao Alliance said that the 64-bit migration of the mobile application ecosystem will soon be completed, and supporting 64-bit will mean that the application will be installed and used normally on new Android machines in the second half of 2023, and will have a better performance experience on all Android machines.
