The live-action series of "radiation" will be launched on Amazon on April 12 next year.

CTOnews.com, December 3 (Xinhua)-- Amazon has released the first trailer for the live-action series radiation, which will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on April 12, 2024, with a total of seven episodes.

CTOnews.com noted that the show is adapted from the global best-selling game "radiation" series and is co-produced by Amazon, Kilter Films, Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks, and that Nolan directed the first three episodes of the series.

The show is set in post-apocalyptic Los Angeles and is based on the original "radiation" story, which takes place in Sanctuary 33 in Los Angeles. In almost all radiation games, the story begins when the character walks out of the shelter.

The trailer shows Lucy, played by the protagonist Ella Purnell, leaving Sanctuary 33 for an unknown reason. Most radiation games follow this story outline, where the character gives up a safe haven for something. For example, radiation 3 centers on players leaving Sanctuary 101 in search of their missing father, while Radiant 4 looks for son Sean to leave Sanctuary 111.

Although the trailer does not reveal the reason for the "radiation" story, the basic premise is similar.

One of the first major colored eggs of the original game in the trailer for radiation is Dog Meat. Dogmeat is a German shepherd that appears many times in the trailer, from the "radiation" game series.
