The speed of audio-to-text conversion in MacWhisper applications is greatly improved.

CTOnews.com, December 7, the MacWhisper application for macOS has recently been updated to run faster on Mac with Apple silicon.

It is reported that the new version of MacWhisper transcribes audio into text two to three times faster through machine learning on Mac.

You can now play and pause by pressing the Spacebar.

Support for undo and redo has been added to the fragment view.

You can now navigate between selected clips using the arrow keys on the keyboard.

You can now select multiple clips and press ⌘ + C to copy them to the clipboard as a whole.

MacWhisper is an application launched by developer Jordi Bruin using OpenAI technology for the macOS platform, which can transcribe audio files into text locally. The MacWhisper app uses OpenAI's state-of-the-art transcription technology Whisper to quickly and easily transcribe audio files into text. According to CTOnews.com, MacWhisper currently supports 100 languages including English, Chinese, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and Ukrainian.
