According to the agreement, the two sides will carry out in-depth and comprehensive cooperation around the urban spirituality scene innovation center, digital twin innovation consortium, urban digital twin ecology, urban digital twin application scenarios and so on.

Hu Houyi, chairman of Huawei, said that Yangpu District has rich scientific and technological innovation resources and is one of the regions with the highest concentration of innovation in Shanghai. The two sides will jointly create an enabling system for innovation cultivation, which is composed of "innovation consortium, industrial ecology and application scenarios".

Xue Kan, secretary of the Yangpu District CPC Committee in Shanghai, said that the common experience of Yangpu and Huawei in transformation, innovation and development has contributed to this common action and cooperation, and it is hoped that the two sides will take this signing as an opportunity to give full play to their respective advantages. in scientific and technological innovation, industrial development, urban governance, digital transformation and other areas to further strengthen cooperation and enhance the level of cooperation.

In addition, as previously reported by CTOnews.com, the Shanghai municipal government signed a framework agreement with Huawei to deepen strategic cooperation in 2020, and Huawei Qingpu R & D center started construction at the same time. As of October this year, Huawei Shanghai Qingpu R & D Center has entered a comprehensive mechanical and electrical pipeline installation, and the construction of the main project has been completed. The center is expected to be completed in early 2024 and gradually put into use.
