In June, the all-new Lexus GX debuted, a hard-core off-road SUV based on the GA-F platform with a redesigned exterior and interior. At this year's Guangzhou Auto Show, the brand-new Lexus GX also debuted in China and is expected to be launched in January 2024. As a reference, the guidance price of the 2015 Lexus GX that has been discontinued in China is 848,000 yuan.

The new Lexus GX is available in six models in the United States: Premium, Premium+, Luxury, Luxury+, Overtrail and Overtrail+. These models are equipped with LED headlights, 20-inch or 22-inch rims, 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, 14-inch central control screen, Lexus Safety System+ 3.0 driver assistance system and other configurations. The differences between different models mainly lie in interior materials, seat functions, sunroof types, sound systems, etc. Among them, Overtrail and Overtrail + models are specially designed for off-road driving, with 18-inch rims, all-terrain tires, black appearance kits, etc., which are more suitable for field driving.

The powertrain of the new Lexus GX is also available in two options: a 3.5-liter V6 twin-turbo engine with a maximum power of 260 kW and a maximum torque of 649 Nm, matched with a 10-speed automatic transmission and a full-time four-wheel drive system, which can accelerate to 60 mph in 6.5 seconds.(0-96 km/h), with a top speed of 175 mph (282 km/h). In addition, the Overtrail model is equipped with a rear differential lock; the other is a 2.4T engine hybrid system that matches an 8-speed automatic transmission, with specific performance data yet to be released.
