Yamazaki pointed out that Japan's Mitsubishi Motor and Aerospace Motor have always maintained a good foundation for cooperation, and expressed the hope that the two sides can further strengthen cooperation and exchanges.

The two sides fully exchanged views on the operation and development of Aerospace Mitsubishi, the direction of follow-up development, and future market expansion, and made it clear that they would further strengthen cooperation and maintain close contact.

CTOnews.com inquiry learned that China Aerospace Automobile Co., Ltd., founded in 1994, is a large state-owned high-tech enterprise managed by the central government, belonging to the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation, and has established a complete scientific research and production system for the automobile engine and special purpose vehicle industry.

Mitsubishi Motors and China Aerospace Automobile have cooperated to establish the brand "Aerospace Mitsubishi", mainly engaged in the research and manufacture of automobile engines, and have made some achievements in traditional fuel engines and hydrogen fuel cell engines.

However, Mitsubishi Motors itself has been reported to stop production many times in the Chinese market. In October this year, GAC GROUP announced that he planned to adjust the equity of GAC-Mitsubishi and GAC-Mitsubishi Motor sales Company and other restructuring matters. After the completion of the restructuring, GAC-Mitsubishi will become a wholly-owned subsidiary of GAC GROUP, while GAC-Ean will use the GAC-Mitsubishi plant to increase production and capacity, and plans to achieve mass production in June 2024.
