CTOnews.com December 23 news, Alibaba announced the 2024 fiscal year interim report (For the six months ended September 30,2023), the revenue was 458.946 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 11%; the operating profit was 76.074 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 52%; the net profit attributable to the parent company was 62.038 billion yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 2748%; and the diluted earnings per share was 3.01 yuan, with a year-on-year growth of 2849%.

CTOnews.com noted that Taotian Group revenue increased by 8% year-on-year; the sea business performed strongly, with Alibaba International Digital Commerce Group revenue increasing by 47% and Cainiao Group revenue increasing by 29%; Local Life Group revenue increasing by 22% and Grand Entertainment Group revenue increasing by 21%.

For the six months ended September 30,2023, Cainiao Group's revenue increased by 29%, and adjusted EBITA reached RMB 1.783 billion yuan; the total duration of Internet e-commerce users in China increased, and Taobao DAU and user duration increased by 7% year-on-year.
