Starting from January 2, 2024, electric bicycle drivers who violate the traffic management measures for electric bicycles will be punished in accordance with the law.

The following roads are closed to electric bicycles 24 hours a day:

Inner loop and its radiation

Expressways, urban expressways and river-crossing tunnels in Guangzhou administrative area

Bridges, tunnels, viaducts and interchanges without separate non-motorized lanes
