Solaris 10(x86) Part of Building Oracle 10g RAC--Installing Oracle Software

System environment:

OS: Solaris 10 (x86-64)

Cluster： Oracle CRS 10.2.0.1.0

Oracle： Oracle 10.2.0.1.0

As shown in the figure: RAC system architecture

Oracle Software Installation

After CRS is built and configured, Oracle software can be installed

Installation needs to be done graphically as Oracle user (on node1):

Select Cluster Installation

Run script: (all nodes)

[root@node1:/]# /export/home/ora10/product/10.2.0/db_1/root.shRunning Oracle10 root.sh script... The following environment variables are set as: ORACLE_OWNER= oracle ORACLE_HOME= /export/home/ora10/product/10.2.0/db_1Enter the full pathname of the local bin directory: [/usr/local/bin]: Creating /usr/local/bin directory... Copying dbhome to /usr/local/bin ... Copying oraenv to /usr/local/bin ... Copying coraenv to /usr/local/bin ... Creating /var/opt/oracle/oratab file... Entries will be added to the /var/opt/oracle/oratab file as needed byDatabase Configuration Assistant when a database is createdFinished running generic part of root.sh script.Now product-specific root actions will be performed.
