An IBM 3650M4 server cannot be started after a Seagate SATA hard drive is attached. The troubleshooting process is as follows:

First, the original SATA hard disk is always Missing on the raid card, and then detected with Seatool on the desktop and connected to the server.

Second, after the hard disk is detected, the Mark Good, and then the Import Foreign Configuration,Raid information is restored.

Third, start with Server 2008 CD, no drive, hard disk can not be found. Then use the driver on the IBM ServerGuide CD to drive.

Fourth, use UltraISO to mirror the floppy disk, copy the driver into the floppy disk, and save the image. Upload the image to RDOC, and the server loads the image automatically after startup.

Fifth, when the Server 2008 system is repaired, the driver is loaded and the hard drive is found. Fix the unknown value in the / boot/bcd file {bootmgr} and other device and osdevice with BCDEDIT and change it to partition=c:.

6. It still doesn't work after rebooting, then put the bootice into the floppy disk image, and then use bootice to repair the bcd file after restarting. It is found that the value is still not unknown, and it is estimated that it has not been modified successfully. Modify the bcd with bootice and restart successfully after saving.
