Question:

Suddenly query table space utilization is very slow, almost 40 minutes to find out, before it was about ten seconds.

After investigation, it was found that the query DBA_FREE_SPACE was slow, which caused the whole query to be slow.

Solution:

empty recycle bin;

After emptying the recycle bin, you can find out the table space utilization in less than 2 seconds
