[root@localhost src] # tar zxvf httpd-2.2.16.tar.gz

Configure compilation parameters:

[root@localhost src] # cd httpd-2.2.16

[root@localhost httpd-2.2.16] #. / configure\ compilation

-- prefix=/usr/local/apache2\ specify the installation directory

-- the package on which with-included-apr\ depends

-- enable-so\ means to start Dso

-- enable-deflate=shared\ means compilation in a shared way

-- enable-expires=shared\

-- enable-rewrite=shared\

-- with-pcre regular related libraries

Compile:

[root@localhost httpd-2.2.16] # make

Echo $? Check whether the compilation is successful

Installation:

[root@localhost httpd-2.2.16] # make install

Start the apache service:

/ usr/local/apache2/bin/apachect1 start Note: if you can't get up, use the: killall hpptd command to kill the end process before restarting.

/ usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl-l dynamic module

/ usr/local/apache2/bin/apachectl-M static module
