Objective: to learn to view and modify the routing of the system

Environment: windows 7

Scenario: like routers, windows systems need routing settings to access different networks. It has some default routes, which we generally do not need to adjust, but when a device has two network cards or ip addresses, it may need to adjust the direction of the route to optimize the network.

The system has its own routing table function, which is used to communicate with different network segment devices.

Command line mode:

Using the route command, the common commands are as follows:

Route print to view existing routing tables

Route add | change destination IP mask destination IP mask next hop gateway address

For example:

Route add 172.8.0.1 mask 255.255.255.0 172.16.1.1

Add a next-hop route to the 172.8.0.1amp 24 segment to point to the gateway 172.16.1.1

This addition disappears after restart, and the-p parameter needs to be added to save as a permanent route.

Route delete routes can be written in full or only in network segments, depending on the actual situation.

Add the metric number after it to specify the priority of the route, and the smaller the number, the higher the priority.
