Exception message:

Warning: [SetContextPropertiesRule] {Context} Setting property 'source' to' org.eclipse.jst.jee.server: 'did not find a matching property.

Cause of exception:

Every time a web application is deployed to a tomcat server, a tag describing the configuration information of a single web application is generated.

Configuration information for deploying web applications is generated in two places:

A single application profile of .xml that is automatically created under the tomcat root directory\ conf\ Catalina\ localhost

A server.xml file under the Servers project.

When the tomcat server starts and loads a web application, it will first go to the server.xml file under the Servers project to look for elements, and then look for elements in the .xml file under conf\ Catalina\ localhost. A warning will be reported because of duplicate Context elements.

Solution:

Modify the Context node in server.xml under Server as follows:

The server.xml under Server here is actually the Servers configuration file under the workspace.

For example, my workspace directory is:

D:\ JavaWeb.

The corresponding modified xml file is:

D:\ JavaWeb\ Servers\ Tomcat v8.0 Server at localhost-config\ server.xml.
