Logging in to sqlplus before setting up will have only one sql as shown in the figure below:

Our goal is to display user@SID when logging in (instance name is masked, please understand)

Find the directory: $ORACLE_HOME/sqlplus/admin

Edit file: glogin.sql

Add the following:

DEFINE sqlprompt=none

COLUMN sqlprompt NEW_VALUE sqlprompt

SELECT USER | |'@'| | NVL ('& _ CONNECT_IDENTIFIER', global_name) sqlprompt FROM global_name

SET SQLPROMPT'& sqlprompt >'

UNDEFINE sqlprompt

SET TERMOUT ON

Col NAME format a50

Col VALUE format a50

Set lin 250

Set pagesize 500

Save exit

It is done. Note: you need to log in to sqlplus again after saving, and the database does not need to be restarted.
