Navicat Import Datagram error 1153-gotapacketbiggerthan maxallowedpacket bytes
Navicat Import data report error-1153-got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet' bytes
Today, I made an error when importing backup database files with navicat:
Mysql error err [imp] 1153-got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet' bytes
The default database file read and executed by mysql defaults to 16m for client and 1m for server.
Solution:
(windows system)
Find the file my.ini in the mysql installation directory, search for [mysqld], and add a sentence below it.
Max_allowed_packet=16m
Restart the mysql service (right-click computer-manage-Services-MySql-- restart this service)
This size is set according to your own sql file size.
(Linux system is looking for my.cnf)
