Use command line mode:

Press and hold the Windows key + R, then type the cmd command, and then you can use the ping command (ping IP/ domain name).

To disable the ping command, enter the command: netsh firewall set icmpsetting 8 disable on the command line.

If there is no ping connection between two PC, consider the firewall problem.

Some common parameters of the ping command:

-t keeps sending ICMP packets to IP.

-n specifies the number of ICMP packets to be sent.

-l specifies the size of ICMP packets sent, with an upper limit of 65500B
